Pikkart and Ferretti Group land at Cannes Yachting Festival

Pikkart’s technology has landed at Cannes Yachting Festival, a convention that was held from September 12 to September 17, together with Ferretti Group, an Italian multinational shipbuilding company that holds the most notorious and appreciated nautical brands in the world.
Thanks to Pikkart-Ar Logo, one of our patented technologies, Ferretti Group has given the hundred of visitors of the nautical convention the possibility to discover all the characteristics of the vessels on display without having to board them.
The best thing? To discover the 25 models Ferretti presented at the convention, attendees didn’t need fancy equipment, monitors, big touch screens, they simply had to use their smarphone.
By simply downloading the app, developed and customized by Pikkart for the event and available for free for both Android and iOS, and pointing to the picture placed next to the yacht, the attendees were able to live an Augmented Reality experience, where they had access to pictures, videos, information sheets and virtual tours that allowed them to admire the detail, the design and the interiors of the vessel as if they had boarded it.
